                                          I   believe the library should be a happy place for all students, even those who do not like to                                                read! It is is my wish to  create an environment that  is magical, comfortable and  promotes                                                the joy of books for every student! 

 

                                         I have  served as an elementary librarian in Santa Rosa County for eight years. Previously I                                                  was a classroom teacher for ten years and an Academic Intervention Specialist for four years.                                           Currently I am serving as the librarian at East Milton Elementary School where I love to use                                               my background in theater to enhance my library activities.  I strongly believe that the library                                             is meant to be the heart of the school and that with a strong enriching library program even                                             reluctant readers will come to love books.
